Better Patient Outcomes…Better Bottom Line

About the Program ( Factsheet)

The Collaborative program was developed as an off-shoot of active involvement in the National Primary Care Collaborative (NPCC/APCC) with the goal for “Every General Practice in the Division to value and utilize their data in order to improve patient outcomes”. At least 70% of General Practices within the boundaries of the Riverina Division of General Practice & Primary Health has participated in the program.

A new incentive aimed at helping GPs to provide better health care for Indigenous Australians will start in May this year. The new incentives under the Practice Incentives Program (PIP) includes a one-off sign on payment, annual patient registration payments and ‘outcome’ payments.
