The Medical Specialists Outreach Assistance Program (MSOAP) aims to improve the access of regional, rural and remote communities to medical specialist services. This is achieved by doctors in each Community identifying and proiritizing the need for Specialist Services that are not readily accessible within a reasonable distance from patients homes. Specialists are identified, usually in capital cities, who are willing to travel to country locations to provide specialist services.
