About the Program ( Factsheet)

The Wagga Applied Psychology Service is an entirely free, bulk-billing psychology service. Entry into the service is via the Mental Health Treatment Plan (Medicare Item Number 2710) and this allows 6-12 bulk-billed sessions with an experienced psychologist. A mental Health Treatment Plan also attracts a higher Medicare billing rate for practices using this item number. A further 6 sessions can be provided on completion of the Mental Health Treatment Plan Review (2712).

How to make a referral:

Simply fax a copy of the Mental Health Treatment Plan (2710) to WAPS on 02 69233144. This enables us to screen for eligibility and a WAPS staff member will make contact with the client directly. We are unable to make appointments without a copy of this plan. Please don't hesitated to contact the Wagga Applied Psychology Service for copies of brochures and promotional materials, on 02 69233120.
